Just how do you guarantee Network Marketing Success?
You may have your upline, and some awesome MLM training, but that alone will not get you anywhere. Not unless you know how powerful certain factors are to your success.
There is only one person who will build your business for you; that my friend is YOU! Not your upline and certainly not some hired help. Your business is your responsibility and your livelihood (if you choose it to be so).
Even if you are armed with the best training in the world, you will get nowhere in your Network Marketing business unless you take certain steps. All the gurus who are making it big in this industry have mastered these steps. To skip these steps is to forego your success.
Steps To Network Marketing Success
1. Have a goal
“Great souls have wills. Feeble ones have only wishes” – great Chinese proverb
You should have a single, powerful purpose for being in this business and this industry. This is the one thing that will give you desire and courage to act on your ideas.
What do you desire for/from your business?
Many people don’t know exactly what they want. Sure, some want to be millionaires, but how many people wish for this, and how many millionaires are actually out there?
When you know what you want, you clearly know every reason why you absolutely must have what it is that you want. When you know what you want, you know what it will cost you not to achieve your goal. When you clearly define and know this, then you know your goal.
With a goal, you know where you are going and you can get there. You can define what success means to you.
Without a goal, you cannot define success, and so anything will do; it’s like wandering in a desert without any compass or clue as to where you are or where you’re headed.
A goal gives you a sense of laser-focussed purpose and from here springs persistence.
2. Have belief and faith
Have belief in yourself and that you will achieve your goal. You can never quantify the value of belief, but ask anyone who has made it in this industry and they will mention belief as a basis for their success.
Belief gives you the courage to act where others will not. Think about it…..if you believe you can achieve something, you will readily tap into all your potential to act on this and make it happen.
If you lack belief, you will tap into a small amount of your potential, and the actions you take will not produce the results you desire.
Have you ever watched a big sports event, and notice how someone you know to be so skilled at doing something just breaks down on the greatest stage of all? You know they have the skill, but they just can’t seem to perform. What’s lacking is the belief.
Without belief, you will not succeed.
3. Have a plan
A goal without a plan gets you easily frustrated.
Knowing where you want to go is not enough. You must also know how you will get there.
By this, I don’t mean that you must know in minute detail how you will do everything that is necessary for you to achieve your goal. I mean you must have a clearly defined roadmap, outlining how you will achieve your goal.
Have a plan that you trust and believe in. This will go a long way in influencing you to take consistent action towards your network marketing success.
4. Be aware of what aspect of your Network Marketing Business you can be the best at
A Network Marketing business has many facets to it, all important in their own right.
If you are building your business offline, you may have to do any or all of the following:
- get your business presentation in front of people.
- follow up with them and talk to them on the phone.
- sell to them.
- do face-to-face presentations.
- advertise in local papers and do some fancy cards to drop door to door.
If you’re building your business online, you might be doing any or all of the following:
- Email Marketing
- Social Media Marketing
- Video Marketing
- Paid Advertising
- Calling qualified leads.
Either way, you will have to take some sort of action. Figure out which of these aspects you can be the best in the world at, and master this.
It’s not necessarily something you might be good at NOW. It may not even be something you know much about now.
Now, if this is something you’re passionate about (and hopefully you are), you can and will be successful at this.
Master this aspect of your Network Marketing business, and you will find success, just as you define it.
5. Know where the money is
What drives your business profits?
In traditional network marketing, it’s sales. The more sales of your products and/or business opportunity that you make, the more you can make in profits.
In online network marketing, it’s also sales. You can be selling your products and/or business opportunity, as well as other affiliate offers. The more sales you make, the greater your profits are.
In either case, it’s sales that drive your profits.
But, there is a magic ingredient added to this…….it’s your relationship with your prospects. The better this relationship is, the more your profits you will make. If you do not take the time to cultivate this relationship with your prospects, your profits suffer.
If you know what you want to achieve, find an aspect of it that you can be the best in the world at, and that makes you money, then you are well on your way to long-term Network Marketing success.
This exact model is how others are making it big building their businesses online, while others are confused about how all the pieces fit together, and end up trying to do it all.
