You may be wondering if the Monavie scam claims are justified or not. If you’re looking to join the Business Opportunity, then due diligence is encouraged; before you join, then you must satisfy yourself as to whether Monavie is a scam or not.

Dallin Larsen has extensive executive-level experience in the Multi Level Marketing field, having been involved with Dynamic Essentials and USANA, both of which are MLM companies. Monavie has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, an independent organisation that rates MLM, Network Marketing and Direct Sales companies based on metrics such as their products, comp plans, complaints, resolution of complaints, etc. Such a high rating with a 3rd party organisation such as the BBB only puts Monavie amongst the top MLM companies with a positive rating.
Monavie Scam Claims | Who Brings These About?
It’s important to look at who is saying Monavie is a scam, and why they say that. A few sources of these claims immediately come to light:
#1. Monavie Acai Berry Scam | Some People Have Issues With The Monavie Juice
Monavie’s juice is blended with 19 other fruits to provide health benefits to the immune system. This is where some people have a problem with the product. Monavie does not state how much acai berry they have in their products, but many people believe the amount of acai berry is small, to warrant the price of the product.
Alternative, pure acai berry products cost less, and have in some cases, a whole lot more acai berry in them (they are not mixed with as other fruit).
When people do not know the exact contents of the products they take, especially for health benefits, then they may start questioning the products. When they also do a comparison of Monavie juices and products with other acai-based products, they find that the Monavie products are relatively more expensive most times. “Is Monavie A Scam?” is a question that will undoubtedly start popping up.
#2. Monavie MLM Pyramid | Lack Of Knowledge Concerning The Network Marketing Business Model
Where someone does not understand the Multi Level Marketing business model and they start hearing about sponsoring, recruiting, building downlines, residual income, getting paid for sales made in your organization, etc, they immediately start thinking Monavie is a scam, or it’s a fraud or pyramid scheme.
When you understand the Network Marketing business model, you will realize that Monavie is a legitimate MLM company that generates revenue from the sale of its products, made by its distributors. Monavie in turn rewards these distributors by paying them based on these sales.
Additionally, Monavie is accredited with the Better Business Bureau, an independent organisation that rates and ranks MLM organisations against their practices, business, results and complaints from outsiders, as well as resolution of those complaints, among other metrics.
If you’re unfamiliar with the MLM business model, educate yourself on this before you look deeper into the Monavie Business Opportunity; that way, you will know what to expect and can set realistic goals as concerns this business opportunity.
#3. Disgruntled Former Monavie Distributors
When you become involved with the Monavie MLM Business Opportunity, you obviously will set goals for yourself to earn a lot of money; sometimes you just want to earn enough money to pay some of the bills.
When you join Monavie, you have to be realistic about your expectations. No matter what anyone may tell you, or promise you, think about your own commitment and skills, then set your goals accordingly. There are some people in Monavie earning well over US$1m per year, and at the same time, there are some people who are not making any money at all.
If you go in there thinking it’s easy and you’ll be earning a “boatload” of cash in no time at all, then you have another thing coming your way.
Such expectations and dissociation from reality leaves some people disappointed and in some instances they start claiming that Mona Vie is a scam. These are people whose expectations were not met.

One of the major reasons behind Monavie’s explosive growth was the fact that they managed to attract top earners in the Network Marketing industry, such as Brig Hart from Amway. These top earners brought their teams with them into Monavie, and the rise for Monavie was meteoric.
Given such a scenario, sales up to those levels are possible.
#5. Monavie Complaints In General
As with any Multi Level Marketing Company, Monavie has had its fair share of complaints. Some people with complaints they feel are justified, have felt wronged in one way or another by Monavie or its distributors, and have gone on to label Monavie a scam. Monavie does its best to address these claims, hence a very positive rating with the BBB.
Is Monavie A Scam Or Not?
Monavie is a MLM Company in the health and wellness niche. It has been in existence since 2005 and has managed to attract some of the top talent in Network Marketing. It has products that some people absolutely love and swear by. At the same time, some people find that the products don’t do much for them and are overpriced.
The effect of Monavie’s products on people will be felt on an individual basis; it’s up to an individual to determine how well these products work for him/her.
Some of the products have been featured in international and well-known publications and have been talked about by celebrities and professionals.
Monavie is not a scam. You need to look at the company from the perspective it deserves; a MLM company in the health and wellness niche. Consider its leadership, its pay plan, and its products, before you jump to label it a scam.
